What our Graduates Have To Say

I attribute the success that I am having...
...in my real estate career to the knowledge & experience I gained in my NAAP training. Prior to joining CBPP, I signed on with a smaller company. I received some training but not enough to give me the confidence I needed to best represent my clients. After two months and no transactions, I left that company and entered the NAAP program. I had no idea that my life would change forever.

After my first day in NAAP, I was able to interpret the real estate data on the MLS Hot Sheets. I knew which areas had the most new listings coming on and which area had the most listings put into escrow. That was only the beginning of building my market knowledge. NAAP classes were not limited to classroom lectures. By day three, I was out previewing properties in various areas. I would then choose my most passionate property and be able to support my choice with facts about the neighborhood, building style, demographics, etc. In six weeks, I gained market knowledge on every area of the island. I was no longer afraid to take a listing because I didn't grow up in that specific area. I was able to confidently represent clients in all areas. While I was in NAAP, I represented buyers and sellers in areas from Mililani to Diamond Head.

Of course, market knowledge would be nothing without being able to properly complete the real estate forms needed to write up an offer and the knowledge needed to review incoming offers. My clients looked to me for interpretation of their offer price and contingencies. In NAAP, I spent weeks writing up offers and role playing with other NAAP agents, until we knew exactly what each section of the DROA meant.

Besides market knowledge and the ability to write up and interpret offers, NAAP also taught me the key ingredient needed for success. The answer is in CBP's vision statement of giving our clients a real estate experience beyond their expectation. That wasn't difficult to do, given the vast resources that CBP offers to us. I don't know of any other real estate company in Hawaii that offers a concierge's program to their clients.

Lastly, working with Tracy was incredible. There was no real estate challenge too hard for Tracy to solve. She's been there and done that! I was fortunate to be in NAAP during a very difficult transaction. I had to meet with a tough client and Tracy helped me to gather my facts and to give me the dialogue to succeed in this meeting. That's exactly what happened. I have actually closed three transactions within twelve months with this particular client. It's hard to believe that I have been out of NAAP for almost two years. I am grateful for all that I have gained from NAAP. I am sure that all NAAP graduates feel the same way.

After careful consideration,...
...and having interviewed with no less than six different Real Estate firms from boutique shops to nationally recognized companies, I chose Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties in part because of their NAAP program. Without hesitation I can tell you that proper training was the most important factor for me while making one of the most critical decisions regarding my career advancement. The NAAP training program has a real world, hands-on approach that provided me with the necessary tools one needs in order to ensure their future success in the business. I would highly recommend NAAP  to anyone who has a desire to not only learn the intricacies of the Real Estate business, but also to those who want to hit the ground running when they enter the marketplace.
